>From what I saw in your note, I would consider this to be extremely
useful, having struggled with B::Terse recently. It is indeed
frustrating to not be given access to the flags.

I would push for its inclusion in the core, and suggest that Terse be
reimplemented in terms of it for backwards compatibility.
