anymore exists, it has been hidden behind macros.

             If you call configure as C<./Configure> or C<sh ./Configure>,
             $src is set to the absolute path name, not '.'.
             
             This, in turn, means -Dmksymlink tries to do its stuff because
             it does not think it is in the src directory.
