This is a build failure report for perl from norton@namaste.tokyo.att.ne.jp,
generated with the help of perlbug 1.33 running under perl v5.6.1.

I encountered the following problems while building the 5.6.1 patched version of perl.

 -  perl embed.pl failed due to read-only file embed.h 
   
   Either the tar extraction or the patch caused the embed.h to be read only.  The perl embed.pl operation failed.  To correct, I simply added a chmod u+w *.h in my own build script after performing the patch and before configure. 

 - make test
 	pragma/constant......FAILED at test 35
