The same could be said for DOS programs as well in the other direction :-). In fact, I often suspect that if NOTEPAD were able to read files with with Unix line endings and display them correctly, then hardly anyone would ever notice if all files had Unix line endings (at least, notepad is the only program I encounter with any frequency on windows which cares).Thread Previous | Thread Next
