This is a build failure report for perl from pjfarley@banet.net,
generated with the help of perlbug 1.33 running under perl v5.7.0.

Filter/Util seemed to build OK, but *not statically*, and failed
at test #2. I built this before the time at my location caught
up with the tarball's time, so there are some clock-skew messages.
I'll re-build again on Friday (Thursday is a big holiday here in
the US, I'll be on the road visiting family) to see what happens
after the clock-skew goes away, but I thought you should see the
results sooner than that.

Here are the make messages for Filter/Util, hand-wrapped:

"lib/filt-util.t" fails with the following messages. I added
a print statement prior to test #1 to view the actual return
value used by test #1 and test #2, the first number is "$?"
and the second is ($? >> 8). These messages are also
hand-wrapped:

loading not available in this perl.
(You may need to build a new perl executable which either
supports dynamic loading or has the Filter::Util::Call
   module statically linked into it
