This is a bug report for perl from crt@kiski.net,
generated with the help of perlbug 1.33 running under perl v5.7.0.

This test was _just_ added. The failure output I get is:

  not ok 779 () ^(a\1?){4}$:aaaaaa:y:$1:aa => `aaa', match=1

Frankly, I'm afraid of the regex engine ;-) I know that the
match _shoud_ work and that $1 .. $4 should be 'aa','aa','a','a'
respectivley.
