This is a bug report for perl from rmb1@cise.npl.co.uk,
generated with the help of perlbug 1.33 running under perl v5.7.0.

Perhaps this is how its supposed to work, but ...

If I build bleadperl without -Duseperlio, the t/op/lfs.t test
is run and passes.

If I build bleadperl with -Duseperlio, the t/op/lfs.t is skipped.
This is still the case with PERLIO=stdio (the default?).
Setting PERLIO to other known values runs and passes the test.
