Actually, I started using "Mark Leighton Fisher" back on www-talk (the first
mailing list about the Web, with participants like TimBL and Marc Andreeson)
while it was active.  Reinforcing that usage was my posting to the
cypherpunks list and various IETF lists, where a Pacific Bell VP might be
seen upon occasion.  It's only recently that I've gained enough Perl
knowledge to be of any use around here...

Since I'd started using my middle name elsewhere, I just kept using it here
for consistency's sake.  And now you and the other perl5-porters know more
than you ever wanted about why I sign with my middle name :).

Below my .sig is the corrected patch, BTW (thanks Ronald!)
