You may be catching collateral damages from my reading over all the messages from all the people who'd rather complain than contribute. Your name shows up in the Change log, which gives you a leg to stand on. You're also writing code that addresses what you rightly perceive as buggered. This is even better. But I do not think you would want to be release manager, either, so I think you should cut some slack to someone who did take up that heavy burden. Serving as an example by fixing what you perceive as broken is the best strategy. That's "you" in the generic plural. --tom
