Confusing error message when using \N

Is it possible to change this message into something more descriptive:

  % perl -wle 'print "\N{greek:Sigma}"'
  constant(\N{...}): %^H is not localized at -e line 1, within string

E.g. "constant(\N{...}) requires charnames pragma".
