I agree. I said the same months ago.

I think sv_yes, sv_no, sv_undef and na should all be available for 5.6.x.

I suggest that MakeMaker could be extended to do a simple search for
some/all of them and issue a warning asking the user to check they are
using the latest version of the module and, if they are, to report the
issue to the author of the module.
