The "used to be" way was less information.  That's just stupid.  If
the kiddies aren't old enough to know the truth, tell them to use
BASIC.

Or you can go back to Perl4.  Or hey, try python.  Its compiler doesn't
do squat for you.  Which, apparently, is a feature.
