I've been trying out all the modules I normally build when I install a new
perl, and I can report success for all of them (with a patch or two here and
there I mailed the authors about):
GAAS/Digest-MD5-2.09.tar.gz
GBARR/IO-Tty-0.02.tar.gz
GBARR/libnet-1.0702.tar.gz
ERYQ/IO-stringy-1.209.tar.gz

DEWEG/Time-HiRes-01.20.tar.gz
GBARR/TimeDate-1.08.tar.gz

Didn't encounter any pollute problems in any of these.
Now I'm off to put this at the front of my PATH for a few days before
I make it "official".
