A very minor request:  Would it be possible to use perl-5.6.0 instead of
perl5.6.0 as the base name of the tarball?  The additional hyphen to
separate the version number from the package name is something of a de
facto convention; I'm probably not the only person who has compilation and
package management scripts that prefer to have it there.

I realize that's not been the convention in the past for Perl tarballs,
but while we're changing version numbering conventions and all....
