I was speaking of verbal abuse, not physical. There are those who beat
others down in the name of 'love' because 'they care' when, in fact, it is
almost purely a function of ego. I beginning to wonder if Perl needs a
12-step program.

I find this amusing that you cite this as an example. I kinda think of
Perl as something more like "M" in James Bond as opposed to something from
Baywatch. Hrmph. What am I supposed to chase, RuPaul? ;)
