You are right.

I went too far. (with reasons... but maybe they weren't worth it...
                 war CAN accomplish great things... but there are probably
                 other better more efficient ways to accomplish the same
                 thing...)

P.S. I am sorry Tom... I'd just like you to think about something for a
     second... You know that I believe that most people appreciate the
     efforts you have put into perl a great deal... you are great at some
     of the things that other people are either not good at might not
     find as sexy... also your perspective on things is a rather good
     balance to some of us more radicals... but remember... it swings
     both ways... some of us are a nice balance from you. We _can_ work
     together to make a better perl.
