I suspect so, even if we end up calling it =over/=back.  :-)

For the first paragraph.  Basically, take the * and any whitespace off,
then treat it like an ordinary filled paragraph (after label "a." and
indent).

The indented paragraph is just verbatim code as it works now in POD.
