Request to register new user fullname: Karl Vogel userid: VOGELKE mail: CENSORED homepage: https://bezoar.org/ why: I wrote some code based on Bob Bemer's "xday" idea for dealing with Y2K date formatting. It's based on an offset from the Lillian date that IBM used way back when, allowing you to specify a date using a 6-digit integer. It doesn't need a 7th digit until the year 3501, and it makes doing date arithmetic from the shell about as simple as it gets. It's a C program, and I have a pure-perl version, but I'd like to make a version using XS. I was hoping to use the name "Date::Xday", as it doesn't look like that's taken yet.
