Planned module takeover: DBIx::Class::Tree::NestedSet

Hi,

I've tried to contact CPAN author 'icydee' for some time now.
https://rt.cpan.org/Public/Dist/Display.html?Name=DBIx-Class-Tree-NestedSet
has patches without responses for 5 months, and emails to the author
<pause@icydee.com> return with "retry timeout exceeded" from my MTA
(tried since start of April this year).

I also tried an alternative email address found in the thread
http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.comp.lang.perl.modules.authors/1707 on
the same domain, with the same result.

I have some bug fixes and new features both in the CPAN rt and on
https://github.com/moritz/DBIx-Class-Tree-NestedSet that I'd love to see
released on CPAN, or at least discussed with the author.
