Hi Everyone,

There's an open issue and PR on GitHub to remove LWP::Protocol::GHTTP from
the main libwww distribution and package it up as its own module. It seems
like people think it's a good idea and that it just needs to get some
momentum going.

https://github.com/libwww-perl/libwww-perl/issues/80
https://github.com/libwww-perl/libwww-perl/pull/81

An attempt at separating it out has been made that could be taken over and
maintained by the same team currently maintaining libwww.

https://github.com/genio/lwp-protocol-ghttp

The question is: is anyone still using the GHTTP protocol? If so, could you
test that attempt to ensure that it works properly and that its test suite
covers your use cases? There aren't any tests currently in libwww to pull
into the new attempt, so the current test set may be a bit naive.

Thanks,
Chase
