Hello!

I'm new to libwww, and I've been having some problems:

Specifically, the following program -

    #!/usr/bin/perl -w
    use LWP::UserAgent;
    LWP::Debug::level('+');

    my $ua = LWP::UserAgent->new;
    my $req = HTTP::Request->new(GET => 'https://www.verisign.com');
    my $res = $ua->request($req);
    print $res->as_string;

generates this output:

    LWP::UserAgent::new: ()
    LWP::UserAgent::request: ()
    LWP::UserAgent::send_request: GET https://www.verisign.com
    LWP::UserAgent::_need_proxy: Not proxied
    LWP::UserAgent::request: Simple response: Not Implemented
    501 (Not Implemented) Can't locate object method "new"
	via package "LWP::Protocol::https"

I've installed libwww-perl-5.53_97.tar.gz. What could be wrong?

Can anyone please enlighten me?

Thanks,

Michael
