Woot! There it is in all its mishmash glory. I just imported my work so far on DateTime.pm (and its little helpers, DateTime::Language (and subclasses), and DateTime::Duration). DateTime.pm and DateTime::Duration are based on Date::ICal and Date::ICal::Duration respectively. DateTime::Language and its subclasses are based on the Date::Language modules included with Graham Barr's TimeDate distro. Theft is good! So far I've done some work to add more of the Time::Piece-esque methods to the base object. I've added the ability to specify a language (per-object or as a default for all objects), cleaned up and expanded the docs, cleaned up a little bit of the internal implementation, added some tests, cleaned up the test code itself a bit. There's a big todo list in the aptly named TODO file, which I'm sure will grow even more before it shrinks. CVS checkins are sent to the perl-date-time-dev@lists.sf.net list, which you can sign up for at http://www.sf.net/projects/perl-date-time/ For now, I'd like to keep actual development discussion on _this_ list, because this project is still very much in the "get many people's input" stage. Eventually, I think things will settle down to a core group of implementers, and then we'll move dev discussion to the dev list and use this list for general usage questions, module announcements, and so on. -dave /*======================= House Absolute Consulting www.houseabsolute.com =======================*/
