I'm going to make a dictatorial declaration for this project. All code used in the project _must_ be licensed under the same terms as Perl itself. No arguing, no weird licenses, no "this software is free, I don't care what you do with it". K? Good. Now, a problem. The following modules need some license clarification: Date::ICal - no indication of license except for DLSIL of bdpOp. Rich, does that mean it does have the same license as Perl itself, or is that just a default setting? Date::Set - no indication whatsoever. Flavio? Date::Calc - Steffen, would you consider changing the license of the C code in Date::Calc to "same as Perl itself". Pretty please? I can't see a really good reason to license the Perl part the same as Perl one way and the C code as LGPL. The LGPL means we couldn't borrow any of the code from that library for this project without using a GPL/LGPL license ourselves. -dave /*======================= House Absolute Consulting www.houseabsolute.com =======================*/Thread Next
