We talked about having a "community liaison" briefly at the tuesday meeting[tm] and the consensus were that the community knows how to make itself heard, if not for other reasons then because we are the community. A link like that between different parts of the community that are overlapping a lot and very vaguely defined wouldn't help communication and at best be a waste of someones time.
