The bootstrap disaster should be not considered an indication of general disorganization surrounding the perl6 project. In fact, bootstrap's purpose was to preemptively assuage chaos. It seems to have temporarily failed in this purpose, but to me, this provides a glimpse into the dark collective unconscious of the perl community. So thorough do we exploit every opportunity for experimentation that no stone is left unturned and no possibility is left unconsidered, consequences or no. Even so, I think our practically malignant enthusiasm could be presented in a comic, and hopeful, light. :-) -- May the best description of competition prevail.
