At the risk of beating a dying camel...

I just want to state that everyone at the p5p meeting saw that
gathering as a very effective way to get some high-bandwidth
communication going. No, not every voice was heard at that meeting,
but I think that we did achive quorum with the dozens of minds in
that room. Yes, there are some important criticisms on what we
decided and how we publicized the groups decisions (Hi, Simon! :-).

I was keeping notes all day, and once Perl6 was announced, I offered
to send out a preliminary "goals and roles" action item, and gnat
recommended that it be sent to the community at large through the
most appropriate forum - bootstrap@perl.org.

I asked that clarifications be sent to me personally, because the
goals and especially the roles are living documents. I expect them to
be maintained and grow over the next few months, and I wanted to
start productive discussion, instead of filling up everyone's mailbox
with 200 messages. Oops!

Sorry if I caused any undue confusion.

Z.
