even then, "to cloy" means *to cause distaste* by an excess of something
normally pleasant. again, using clever analogies leave people a lot of
room to misunderstand meaning.  i'd rather spend my spokesperson time
explaining Perl 6 rather than trying to make the analogies work out.

indeed, my first reaction to "cloyster" was "we're now a cathedral instead
of a bazaar!"
