Personally (and we're now nit-picking natural [human] language), the fact that 
these words are coming from my fingers implies it's an opinion.  "I think..." is 
always implied unless each time I typed a word, I asked a committee for 
consensus.  :-)

Ian, your point is a good one and (honestly), it is why I brought it up in the 
first place.  I'm on (i.e., "lurking" :-) ) several lists and, for some reason, 
I see newbies picked on for etiquette here more than anywhere else.  A 
"beginner" in Perl doesn't mean every new person just found out about the 
Internet yesterday...  Anyway, this wasn't the first time; happens once every 
few months...  *sigh*
