I've been entrenched with a lot lately, and it seems as though I took too much of a defencive stance. Me thinks I might have brought certain outside influences into something which is far from political. > Every one of us have been students at some point in our lives and as > such, every one of us has an opinion...perhaps a unique opinion...about > 'teaching' techniques. I've been reading a lot lately, and reviewing much of what history has to say about Perl. Perhaps I got overzealous when it seemed that the names of those who were there from the start were being 'put down'. This list isn't for that, nor is any list. This list is, and always will be what it was originally designed for... Perl programming. I'm still just a beginner! > PS: I never claim to know as much Perl as Uri, but your Google test is > flawed. Agreed... my frustration allowed me to take the simple route, and I seriously apologize. > We can't rely on Google for > everything... What?! so I didn't just win the Nigerian lottery?
