Look at the values in array @INC. This is a list of the paths where Perl
expects to find modules included with 'use'. Your .pm files need to be
beneath one of these, but note that the path needs to include the full
module name.

Suppose one of the elements of @INC is


then your two files should be at


where it will find them correctly.

Oh, and your final syntax error, your line should be

    use Digest::MD5 qw(md5);
