This is what i have emailed Mark Rutz earlier.

i was asking the same question at #yapc on irc.perl.org and got reply
that the Apr 3rd deadline will be pushed back for some reason(probably what Sarah has heard). so
no worries. 

I hope they come out and clear it up..
