This is a bug report for perl from ina@cpan.org,
generated with the help of perlbug 1.39 running under perl 5.16.2.

-----------------------------------------------------------------
[Please describe your issue here]

The following regular expression(No.1) doesn't match.
(Is this a known problem?)

# a32768c_gabbc.pl
print "1..5\n";
$_ = ('A'x 32768).'C'; print /\G(A|BB)*C/ ? "ok - 1\n" : "not ok - 1\n";
$_ = ('A'x 32767).'C'; print /\G(A|BB)*C/ ? "ok - 2\n" : "not ok - 2\n";
$_ = ('A'x 32768).'C'; print   /(A|BB)*C/ ? "ok - 3\n" : "not ok - 3\n";
$_ = ('A'x 32768).'C'; print /\G(A|B)*C/  ? "ok - 4\n" : "not ok - 4\n";
$_ = ('A'x 32768).'C'; print /\G(A|BB)*/  ? "ok - 5\n" : "not ok - 5\n";
__END__

$ ./perl a32768c_gabbc.pl
1..5
not ok - 1
ok - 2
ok - 3
ok - 4
ok - 5

Thanks,
INABA Hitoshi
