perl 5.12.5 RC1 is now available

The first release candidate of perl-5.12.5 is now available.

You will soon be able to download perl-5.12.5-RC1 from your favorite CPAN
mirror or find it at:

the "pod" directory inside the release and on the web.

Please report any problems with this release candidate immediately.
There is one known but uncomfirmed report of a build failure on NetBSD;
reports of success or failure on that platform are particularly welcomed,
especially if perl 5.12.4 works on the same platform and configuration.

If no major problems are reported, perl 5.12.5 will be released on
10th November 2012.
