I been meaning to ask: how easy or difficult would it be to get the OP
address of a running Perl program?

A little background. In order to try to give a more specific location
about where a program is at a "trace event", one suggestion is to give the
location as the current OP address. See
http://www.perlmonks.com/?node_id=988181 for the discussion on Perl Monks
for more detail (than you probably want).

Thanks.
