To avoid future confusion, we could do this. It doesn't change the formatted
output, but should avoid anyone attempting to correct it in future:
diff --git a/pod/perlhist.pod b/pod/perlhist.pod
index 0af399a..45c2e24 100644
--- a/pod/perlhist.pod
+++ b/pod/perlhist.pod

Chip Salzenberg gets credit for that, with a nod to his cow orker,
David Croy. We had passed around various names (baton, token, hot
potato) but none caught on. Then, Chip asked:
I'm not certain, but I have this feeling that this isn't the first time that
someone has interpreted it as a typo and hence reported it as a bug.
