Want my opinion? For the programmer it doesn't add any functionality,
it's only confusing. For the implementor it's easy to implement the
first 80% of the change, as you demonstrated, but implementing the
remaining 80% could be tricky.
It would be cute for April 1st, or for a pluggable ACME operator. Or an
obfuscated Perl contest.
