I did work to apply everything from Reini's tree earlier in the 5.13 series and didn't hear anything about it not being enough until far too far into freeze. I agree 100% that it's a bad sign for Perl on cygwin that there isn't enough communication about the state of things (and that people are getting differing results on the same cygwin configuration) I'd love Perl to work great out of the box on every platform, but we need active participation from porters for a given platform throughout the development cycle. I'd be thrilled to see a stream of patches for the cygwin port when we reopen 5.15. Depending on the patches, they may even be reasonable for backporting to 5.14. -JesseThread Previous | Thread Next
