I generally point out these kinds of anomalies so that someone else
will do the hard work of correcting them. Thus, "hate" is the last thing
I feel if this odd behaviour is fixed. ;-)
My only concern is that the the construct will remain correct and DWIMmy
in places where it reasonably ought to work. For example, my (limited)
understanding of the patch is that it won't break:
my @array = qw(a b c);
If it *did* break that, I would be unhappy.
