I think it would. So long as it has a shepherd who will clean up submitted patches and forward them to the bug tracker as well-formed patches, that would certainly be worth trying. At least for now, I don't really want to set up a model where we "just pull from the wiki" without manual review for each patch. Go ahead and try it. ikiwiki is one option for a git-backed wiki in Perl. Last I looked, it was very debian-specific, but it may have gotten more portable since then.
