Sarathy has agreed to let me test this and has installed my SSH key. I haven't
had a chance to get back to trying it, though. I don't think it will be tonight
(I have a pounding headache), but I will try and set up a run tomorrow night.

One thing that will need to be addressed is that there were certain binary files
which were part of historical Perl releases which were not added to the Perforce
repository. Perl::Repository::APC contains these files (actually right in its
source code), so we have access to them. In order to fully mirror the history
of Perl, the Perforce repository must be read in blocks of revisions, and the
few odd binary files loaded in at the appropriate time. I'll need to extract
that information out of P::R::APC and script that up to load the binaries at the
right points. So it isn't going to be a single load, unfortunately.

Thanks for svk, BTW. I don't know how I ever managed without it. I am juggling
multiple patches for both Subversion and Perl itself, and I couldn't do it
nearly as well with any other tool!

John
