Not directly AFAIK (maybe as silent listeners: hi you all Apple Perl
hackers!) but Fred Sanchez has a lot of influence being a former Apple
person and still a Darwin developer.

I believe this particular problem has already been addressed, by Fred,
in the latest snapshots (since few months, at least).  What is now
being discussed is fine tuning.
