It came up last week on this list about this very module, as well, and isn't likely to be resolved before we many of us see each other f2f next week. Can we please postpone this discussion until Monday? I promise to make a fair and complete summary of what's happened with core modules thus far, what the issues, suggestions and requests are[*]. This is too important an issue to be resolved by placing bets on Jarkko's blood alcohol level, or rehash the same discussion every time someone has a REEEEALLLY GOOOD module that belongs in the core. Thanks, Z. *: I'll be armed with minutes from last year's CPAN working group, the minutes from the CPAN ad hoc discussion after YAPC::Montreal, feedback from use.perl.org, messages to this list and anything anyone else cares to send me by Monday.
