Hmmm... something very odd going on.   I *was* looking at bugs.perl.org,
or more precisely   http://bugs.perl.org/pbdb.cgi?req=search .
This morning, if presented with an unrestricted request, it was reporting
537 hits, the last being 19990914.002.    When I try exactly the
same thing now, I get 744 hits, being essentially up to date.

Has something been changed today?

And BTW, if I do such a search, but leave "Restrict returns to: [10]"
it gives me the first 10 of the 744 and an array of buttons to get the
rest in groups of 10.    But selecting any of these gives me

     400  Invalid URL 

which, given the monstrous URL, doesn't entirely surprise me.
