Right, that's EXACTLY what I like about Perl as well!  The constructs
I manipulate in my mind to solve a problem seem to map 1-1 to
constructs in Perl.

Unfortunately, I work for a company that's enamoured of Java, although 
I'm doing my best to fix that.
