Problem installing PAR 1.005 on cygwin

For some strange reason, I have a problem installing PAR 1.005 in cygwin with perl 5.14.1. It builds and tests fine but dies on install with:

$ make install
chmod 755 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.14/i686-cygwin/auto/PAR/PAR.dll
chmod: cannot access `/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.14/i686-cygwin/auto/PAR/PAR.dll
': No such file or directory


Any ideas? There doesn't seem to be a PAR.dll anywhere in the build tree.
