HTTP::Recorder's maintainece

Hello All.

I have tried to use HTTP::Recorder, and immediately run into some bugs.
RT shows bugs open for seven years, and the last release was in 2005.
The author is Linda Julien.

I sent an email to the author asking if they are maintaining it, and if 
not if they will be interest in giving me permission to upload new version.
A month ago, I sent to the CPAN address and bitmistress.org's whois address.
Also,  a week ago I sent an email to mailing list (that is quite dead) 
that belong to this module.
No reply so far.

If someone happens to know the author and have another way to contact 
her, please ask her.
If no reply will be received for another month, can I adopt this module?
