Server Push to IE?

I need to push text to an IE browser similar to the way that Netscape 
allows with multipart/x-mixed-replace headers. I know that ASP can fake 
this functionality where one HTML page feeds into the next, until done, 
but isn't there a way to fake this with Perl? It should just be a 
header trick. Has anyone done this?
