This North Dallas client has a unique corporate culture, bleeding edge technology, and a beautiful state-of-the art facility. We are looking for a software developer to create web based database applications and/or Unix based automation scripting. The web based software application is written in ASP.net/Visual Basic, accessing MySQL and MS Access databases, and consists of forms, graphics and report generation using HTML and Microsoft Office automation. Unix based Perl scripting runs on Solaris servers and embedded Linux systems to automate system configuration and perform automated diagnostics and testing. Must have direct experience developing database and web based applications and Unix/Perl scripts. ASP.net and VB experience is a plus, similar experience is required. Sharepoint 2010 and MS Office automation experience is also a plus.
