Application Developer  -- LAMP -- Healthcare

LightSpeed Technology Group is an established Chapel Hill, NC based
Healthcare Software Company is looking for a software developer to add to
its team.  These are contract positions, with the opportunity for the right
candidate to become a fulltime employee within 6 months.  If you are only
looking for contract work, that is fine as well.  

We are seeking an experienced Application Developer to provide hands-on
full life-cycle development/support. The candidate must demonstrate
proficiency in all aspects of software development life cycle from
requirements gathering and analysis, design, developing and debugging code.
Candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, deploying and
maintaining applications. Candidate must be self-motivated, quick learner,
and have good communication skills and work well in a team environment.  We
are a casual company, focused on success.    

REQUIREMENTS : 
Experience in all aspects of software development life cycle from
requirements gathering and analysis, design, developing and debugging code.
 * Opportunity to participate in high-level systems design developing
document imaging, process workflow and records management projects. *Expert
knowledge of LAMP platform (superior PHP/Perl skills required). *MS SQL
database experience, including optimization, and development of complex
stored procedures. *HL-7 knowledge helpful. * Above average Crystal Reports
or SSRS skills knowledge. * prior professional experience with document
imaging or process workflow applications extremely helpful.  * Knowledge
and Experience in Healthcare IT helpful.  * Experience with Accusoft
Pegasus SDK helpful, but not required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work
with cross-functional teams are essential. A Bachelors degree in Computer
Science, Engineering or related field is preferred. This position is based
in Chapel Hill, NC and is targeted to start June 1, 2012 or before. 

We are a business casual environment, and offer a flexible work
environment.  This will allow up to 50% work from home.
