Description:
As a Senior Perl Developer you will be joining one of the most rapidly
growing and well-known brands in Europe, based in London. With huge
expansion currently underway they are seeking multiple Perl Developer (s)
to work in various teams across the business. You will be working on varied
Perl based projects with other innovative developers in order to add to the
success of this online entertainment company, whilst constantly building
upon your skill set.

Core responsibilities for the Senior Perl Developer:

• The implementation and development of new online products and services
and maintenance of existing cutting-edge Video On Demand and streaming
features
• Development work for the company’s extensive fulfilment and operational
technical infrastructure in addition to its web products
• Working with 3rd Party Suppliers to ensure that software is efficiently
implemented

Required skills:
Core skills for the Senior Perl Developer:

• High level of application development using object oriented Perl on Unix
platforms
• Particular knowledge of Linux, Apache, MySQL or other widely used SQL
database product
• An understanding of emerging LAMP technologies
• Experience in an Agile Development environment
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
